About Us

MancsMentő was founded 11 years ago with the goal that no one in Gyöngyös or the Mátra region should have to travel all the way to Budapest or Eger for a nighttime veterinary emergency. Today we have grown into the region's only true 24/7 veterinary emergency clinic with comprehensive surgical capabilities — in our 320-square-meter building, complete with our own operating room, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and an intensive care ward.

We are proud that we can handle most emergency cases — whether it's foreign object removal, fractures, uterine infections, or poisoning — on-site, without referral, which saves crucial time in an emergency situation. Our team regularly participates in surgical and emergency veterinary continuing education so that we can apply the most modern techniques.

We work in close cooperation with breeders, shelters, and other veterinary practices in the region — in many cases, we serve as the backup emergency provider for colleagues who don't have nighttime or surgical capacity.
